KEF Q950 là model đầu bảng trong dòng loa tầm trung Q-Series của thương hiệu loa nổi tiếng đến từ Anh Quốc KEF. Đây là một trong những mẫu loa cột có cấu trúc phức tạp nhất ở phân khúc tầm trung, với cấu hình 2,5 đường tiếng, trang bị tổng cộng tới 5 củ loa con, được phân bổ cho nhiều vai trò khác nhau. Trong đó, vai trò chính trong việc tái tạo âm thanh được đảm nhiệm bởi tổ hợp củ loa đồng trục Uni-Q nổi tiếng của hãng, gồm 1 tweeter màng vòm nhôm kích thước 38mm, được đặt ở chính giữa tâm 1 woofer hình nón, màng nhôm đường kính 200mm, tạo thành một hệ thống nhất. Về thiết kế loa cột Kef Q950 Loa Cột Kef Q950 đặc biệt sở hữu thiết kế cỡ lớn, đơn giản nhưng sang trọng kiểu Anh, kích thước 1062 x 244 x 328 mm và nặng 20,6kg mỗi loa, vóc dáng phù hợp với những phòng nghe cỡ vừa và lớn. Vỏ loa được chế tạo từ chất liệu cao cấp, các chi tiết được chế tạo tỉ mỉ, tinh tế mang đến tính thẩm mỹ cao và khả năng bảo vệ hệ thống linh kiện cực tốt. Loa còn được trang bị hệ thống chân đinh chắc chắn giúp chống rung, cộng hưởng. KEF Q950 có 2 tùy chọn hoàn thiện là đen và trắng. Mặt sau là hệ thống các cổng kết nối được thiết kế khoa học, phối ghép dễ dàng, truyền tín hiệu, âm nhạc nhanh chóng, ổn định. Thiết kế Uni-Q gồm 2 driver riêng biệt kết hợp với nhau (tweeter và mid-bass), do đó, âm thanh được tạo ra có độ chi tiết rất tốt, đáp tuyến rộng, các dải tần cân bằng và đầy đủ và do được kết hợp với nhau trên cùng một trục cố định thành một hệ thống nhất, âm thanh từ tổ hợp Uni-Q có được những đặc tính đáng quý của loa toàn dải, đặc biệt là sự đồng nhất và liền lạc cả về mặt âm sắc, dải tần, tính định hướng và pha thời gian, loại bỏ hiện tượng lệch pha và nhiễu loạn. Loa Woofer cao cấp mang đến âm trầm cuốn hút Nổi bật hoàn toàn Loa Cột Kef Q950 sở hữu 3 củ loa woofer được dành riêng cho dải trầm và siêu trầm, chỉ có 1 driver woofer thực sự hoạt động (active), 2 driver còn lại có vai trò hỗ trợ về mặt hiệu ứng thay cho hệ thống bass-reflex (cổng thoát hơi). Nhờ vậy mang lại hiệu quả tái tạo dải trầm gần như tương đương với việc sử dụng 3 woofer chủ động cùng lúc, nhưng lại ít tiêu tốn năng lượng hơn rất nhiều, giảm áp lực lên bộ khuếch đại, giúp loa trở nên nhẹ kéo và dễ phối ghép hơn rất nhiều so với các hệ thống loa khác có cùng cấu hình, có thể chơi tốt với nhiều dòng ampli khác nhau. Độ nhạy cao, phối ghép dễ dàng  Hệ thống củ loa con của KEF Q950 được quản lý bởi mạch phân tần 2,5 đường tiếng thế hệ mới nhất của hãng, cắt tần tại điểm tần số 2,2kHz, được thiết kế để đáp ứng tốt với ngay cả những dòng ampli công suất thấp. Do đó, dù có kích thước khá lớn, sử dụng tới 5 củ loa con, nhưng mức công suất tối thiểu yêu cầu của KEF Q950 chỉ là 15W. Ngoài ra, đôi loa này còn sở hữu những thông số âm thanh ấn tượng khác như đáp tuyến rộng 44Hz-28kHz (±3dB), dải trầm xuống tới dưới 38Hz (-6dB), độ nhạy cao 91dB, cường độ âm cực đại 113dB, trở kháng 8Ohms, có khả năng phối ghép dễ dàng với các thiết bị âm nhạc khác.
